HONESTY is something to be had with oneself rather than being honest to others and a liar to oneself!
We all experience this phenomenon in ourselves,in our famlies and in general in society...Honesty is oftenm taught as in ideal...and yet it is often seen as an obstruction in getting what we want.Many a times we bedn it arbitrarily and it quiet justifiable most of the times, yet it remains technically a dishonest act!
What we have learn t with the evolution of civilization is to confirm to the norms of society...to confirm with that which is more popular or more acceptable by the people sometime people only from a particular sect or in general all of them. We all have found ourselves in a dirty situation where you want beat the hell out of someone and you have to act extra sweet that person...Often this is considered as an act of gentlemanly-ness...but in reality it is the most stupid thing to do...Almost all of us have sometime experienced in our lives a sexual urge for someone...we all have had our own sexual fantacies about someone we know...distant or near...but due to our outward relation with that person we guard our feelings and we keep it a secret...In the similar manner there trillions ans zillions of thoughts that are secretly inside of us...and mind you they are all piling up into a big heavy heap...
We don't realize the consequence of this...but as days pass this pile becomes real burden on us...many dick heads hardly ever realize it and hence they ruin many things in life...others adapt to certain situations and manage to handle everything somehow...Very few try to delve into the depths of it to the reasons...to the roots!
One believes ideals...which make no sense actually. because an ideal is one's personal idea of perfection where as actually it just might not be any where near something called perfection...To decide someone or something to be perfect is often an act of justifying one's own shortcomings or of hiding them, not that of true knowledge.
Honestly speaking we make many ideals for us...but we follow none! and even if we follow what difference does that make...keeping an ideal of Abraham Lincoln will make you Abraham Lincoln it wont make you,YOU! and LIFE is all about being you and being the best of yourself not that of others...IF we start replicating some so called ideal persons life we all will stop living! we will just become his/her prototype...and what use is that? in that case there will not be any evolution.there will only be a regression....in order to copy forward the same...
The whole world will be meaningless if we just go on replicating things like that.We have to understand the difference between ideals and goals..,IDEALS themselves cannot be goals...ideals are to understand and guide you towards ur goal.
Many of our personal conflicts often result due to our own lack of honesty with ourselves. There is a huge difference in our inner and outer selves.WE think one and w act another. Majority people are dishonest this way.People commit dharma externally...but dharma is really to be practiced within! and where there is in and out honesty and dharma....there has to be GOD his blessings and peace and the ultimate happiness...
